Use the Video banner section to bring your brand to life and draw attention to key messaging with its dynamic video banner.

Add the section to a template

Click Customize to open the theme editor for the selected theme.

Open the template (e.g. home page, default product) and click (+) Add section in the sidebar.

Scroll down to the bottom of your default sections list and select 🧰 Video banner.

Customize section settings

Click the Video banner section to customize general settings for the section.

Content width

Adjust the horizontal space occupied by the content by selecting Regular, Wide, or Full width.

Connect Shopify-hosted video

Click Select video to connect the section with a video uploaded to your store.

Desktop layout

Section height

Control the video height by choosing any of the following options

• Adapt to video
• Small
• Medium
• Large

Desktop content position and Desktop content alignment can help control the position your content (text) block will take. 

Mobile layout

Mobile content alignment can be adjusted by choosing between Left, Center, and Right.

Select colors

Choose colors for the section's Text color and Video overlay color, and control the transparency of the overlay through the Video overlay opacity. 

Adjust spacing

Use the Top margin and Bottom margin sliders to increase or decrease the margins of the section.

Customize blocks

By default, the section should already include three different blocks: Heading, Text, and Button group. 

Heading is used for the section's title and will usually appear as an overlay.  

Text block is used to add a sentence below the Heading. 

Button group block can also be displayed if you would like to redirect the customers to a specific page.
