All our themes support Shopify's built-in Currency Selector feature. In early 2022, Shopify standardized the Country Selector, replacing the Currency Selector.
Both features are limited to stores using Shopify Payments. See Can I use Shopify Payments? for a list of supported countries.
Country selector
The Country Selector is only available in certain themes so far. Check if your theme has a compatible version, then update to include a Country selector on your storefront.

- In the top-right corner, click Add market
- Add a Market name
- Select Add countries/regions
- Browse the list or use the search bar to locate and select countries
- With all the preferred countries selected, click Done
- Confirm the countries/regions, then select Save

On desktop, depending on your theme, the currency converter will display in the main Header area or Top Bar.

On mobile, the currency converter will display within the main menu (accessible by clicking the hamburger menu) at the bottom of your menu links.
Currency converter
In addition to Shopify's native currency selector, Turbo 6.0.2 and Flex 2.0.2 also has a built-in custom theme currency converter which gives customers an idea of how much it'll cost them in their currency.
So, if you're on a newer version of Turbo or Flex but cannot use Shopify Payments to enable the native currency selector, no sweat! There's a built-in option for you.
It's important to note that orders will be processed in the store currency.
If you previously had Shopify's native currency selector enabled, turning on the custom theme currency selector will replace it.
Step 1
Go into Customize > Theme settings > Currency > Enable custom theme currency converter.
Step 2
To add it to the Header (Top bar), under Sections > Header > Currency selector, enable the Show currency selector setting:
