Responsive includes a flexible Collection page template to organize and showcase your products. Collection pages gather products together and display the products included in that collection.
Access collection page template
To access the Collection page settings, use the page selector to open Collections, then Default collection.
Customize template settings
In the left sidebar, open Collection to access its settings which includes the following:
Show breadcrumb links setting displays a navigation path on collection pages, allowing customers to easily return to previous categories or the homepage.
Enable Show collection image to display the collection image set in your Shopify admin.
Show collection sorting will display a selector that includes the following options:
- Featured
- Best Selling
- Alphabetically: A-Z
- Alphabetically: Z-A
- Price: Low to High
- Price: High to Low
- Date: New to Old
- Date: Old to New
Selecting an option will reorder the products within the collection accordingly.
Products per row adjusts the number of Product per row with the provided range finder.
You can also use the Products per page range finder to control how many products are included on each page.
Customize section settings
Currently, only two sections can be added in the Collection page template:
Customize sidebar content
To display additional content in the collection sidebar, enable Toggle sidebar content.
Blocks added via the Add block option will be displayed in this area.

Filters
This block displays filters configured in the Shopify Search & Discovery app and cannot be edited within the theme customizer. You can also enable the Show product counts within this block.
Menu, Page, and Text blocks
The Menu block allows you to display a specific menu from your Navigation settings in the admin. Similarly, the Page block can be linked to any page to display its content in the sidebar.
The Text block can be used to add a short message or announcement and includes fields for both a heading and body text.
Tag, Type, and Vendor lists
The Tag list block helps display the available product tags in the collection page and functions like an alternative filter:
Similarly, Type list displays the Product types of the items within the collection, and Vendor displays the Brands.
