Retina includes a dynamic sidebar to enhance navigation, provide information, and more. Select from the catalog of content blocks to build a sidebar for the left side of your product pages.
Use the theme editor to add Content Blocks for your sidebar, including Collection List, Menu, Page, Text, Type List, and Vendor List.
Add content blocks
Select (+) Add block to view the available options.
Once added, click the block to open its settings. Some require content to be added manually, while others are automatically set up.
Collection list
The Collection List content block automatically displays a link list of the store's collections (set up in the Products admin).
Add a Collection List block to the sidebar if you have multiple collections in your store.
Menu
The Menu content block provides additional navigation for the customers right on the product page. Use this block to connect a menu (set up in Navigation) with links that relate to your products (e.g. shipping information, return policy, etc.).
Click Select menu to locate the menu to display.
This block can be used multiple times to offer different menus.
Page
The Page content block draws copy from a published static page (set up in Pages) to display in the product page sidebar.
Click Select page to locate the page to display here.
The content drawn from the static page is limited, so custom content embedded on the page may not display in the product page sidebar.
Text
Similar to the Page block, the Text block provides tools for messaging.
Use the Heading and Text fields to include text in the sidebar.
Type list
The Type List content block automatically displays a compiled list of the type(s) associated with your products (Product type in the Products admin).
Add a Type List block to your sidebar if your products are organized using Product Type.
Vendor list
Similar to the Type List, the Vendor List content block provides a list of the vendor(s) associated with your products (Vendor in the Products admin).
Add a Vendor List block to your sidebar if your products are organized using Vendors.
