Themes with the latest version architecture offer more customization options through sections and blocks. Blocks are components of the page's sections that are edited, rearranged, or hidden individually.
If we imagine the sections as rooms in a building, the blocks are the furniture—some serve specific functions, while others are mainly cosmetic. Move them around to suit your storefront's needs.
Block Settings
Click to open a block's settings.
Not all blocks have dedicated settings, but can still be moved or hidden.
Rearrange Blocks
Move blocks around by dragging the blocks vertically with your cursor. The order in the sidebar reflects how the blocks appear on the page.
If your block sequence is not matching the layout on the page, confirm you are using an Online Store 2.0-compatible version
Hiding Blocks
To hide a block and exclude it from the storefront, click the eye icon. The open eye means the block is visible, while the open eye with a diagonal line means the block is hidden.
Add More Blocks
Add more blocks by selecting [+] Add block. Add blocks available to your theme or installed apps (e.g. Product Reviews).
