Where are the Cart settings?
In Out of the Sandbox themes, you can configure settings for your Cart Page, and also select the specific 'Cart Type' you'd like to use on your shop!

Accessing Cart Page Settings
In the Cart Page settings, you can enable a "note" text box and the "agree to terms" checkbox. There might be some other options depending what theme and version your shop is on!
To access cart page settings:
Head into Admin > Online Store > Themes > Customize (your theme editor), and navigate to your Cart Page (choose 'Cart' in the drop-down page selector). The Cart Page Sections settings will then appear on the left in your theme editor.
Accessing Cart Type Settings
What's a Cart Type?
Each of our themes includes the ability to change your "Cart type." This option is located in your theme options under the Theme Settings > Cart tab.
How does this work?
The "Cart type" options control how your cart functions when a customer purchases a product from your storefront by clicking the "Add to cart" button.
To access cart type settings:
Head into Admin > Online Store > Themes > Customize > Click into Theme Settings > Cart
Cart Type Options
This method will refresh the page when a customer adds a product to their cart. At this time, you can expect your storefront to refresh the current page and update your cart's count.
This method will lead the customer to your cart page once a product has been added to their cart. This method is great for sending users to your cart page to find relevant information such as the Shipping Calculator, product listings and terms and conditions.
This method will lead the customer directly to your checkout page once a product has been added to their cart. This is a great method to achieve a "direct sale" as there is only one action before the checkout stage.
Theme Specific Options
Mini Cart (Turbo, Flex and Artisan Themes)
This method will display your themes "Mini cart". When a customer adds a product to their cart, a smaller version of your cart in a drop-down format will be shown in your header. This cart is updated dynamically using AJAX.
Drawer (Parallax, Retina and Flex Themes)
This method will display an AJAX cart in your storefront which provides a dynamic cart with a sliding animation.
Inline (Mobilia Theme)
This method will display a brief message underneath your "Add to cart" button once a customer has added a product to their cart. This message includes a "Continue shopping" and "Checkout" link to provide the customer with direction on what steps should be taken next.
Popup (Responsive Theme)
This method will display a "popup" once a customer has added a product to their cart. This popup will include a brief overview of the product that has just been added as well as various links and options to direct the customer to take the next step.
