In all of our Shopify themes, you can enable a Blog to share valuable content and connect with your customers. Learn more about adding a Blog with Shopify's full instructions.
This feature is available for current versions of Retina, Flex, Parallax, Responsive, and Turbo.
Retina
Within your Blog, you can choose to enable comments. You can also replace Shopify's default comments with DISQUS comments through the Default blog template.
- In the theme editor (Customize), use the page selector to open Blog posts, then Default blog post
- In the left sidebar, click Blog post to open general settings for the template
- Scroll down to DISQUS COMMENTS to click Enable DISQUS comments
- Add a DISQUS shortname using the provided field
- Save
Flex - Parallax - Responsive - Turbo
Within your Blog, you can choose to enable comments. You can also replace Shopify's default comments with DISQUS comments instead by going into Theme Settings > DISQUS comments > Enable DISQUS comments.
- In the theme editor (Customize), open THEME SETTINGS in the sidebar
- Open DISQUS COMMENTS
- Click Enable DISQUS comments
- Add a DISQUS shortname using the provided field
- Save
