Within Out of the Sandbox themes, there are two areas that include settings for the Search Results Page: Theme Settings and on the page itself.
To enable the search to begin with, navigate to the Header section settings (Customize > Sections > Header) > Show search.
Search Theme Settings
The actual setting for your search results is found under Theme Settings > Search in the theme editor. Here, you can decide whether you'd like the search results to display products or everything.
When the search results setting is set to products, the search results page will display in a grid-like layout:
When the search results setting is set to everything, the search results page will display as a listing with 1 item per row:
The Turbo and Flex themes will include additional theme settings for the Search in this area, such as pagination type, the option to enable predictive search and display style (Flex only).

Search Results Page Settings
In order to configure the search results page settings for your theme, you'll need to navigate to the page itself so the settings appear under the Sections tab.
Once search has been enabled in your Header settings, you can navigate to the search results page by entering a search query or by adding the it as a main menu item (the 'link' would be entered as /search
).
Once you're on the search results page, you can locate your settings under Sections > Search. These settings will include products per row, products per page, the option to add a sidebar, and more – depending on your theme.
Again, depending on your theme, you'll have other settings available for the search results page, such as a banner image (in Turbo and Flex)!
