Flex is a premium Shopify theme available directly and exclusively from Out of the Sandbox. To preview the theme in your store, you need to use Theme Updater.
Please note that any customizations made in the theme trial are not retained after purchasing the Flex theme
This process is the same for Turbo and Superstore.
Step 1: Install Theme Updater
Install Out of the Sandbox's Theme Updater in your shop.
This task does not require a paid subscription and can be completed with the app's Free plan
Step 2: Try additional themes
Open the app, then scroll down to the Additional themes from Out of the Sandbox section to locate Flex.
Click Try theme to add the trial theme to your store
Once the modal window opens, select Install trial and wait for the process to complete.
Step 3: Customize the theme
Click Customize to be taken directly to the Flex theme editor and start experimenting with the extensive options and features.
In Online Store > Themes, the Flex theme is listed as one of your installed, unpublished themes.
Theme styles
Only the default theme style can be previewed. When you purchase the theme, you can access all theme styles and upload the desired preset to your store.
