Vault's Activity Log automatically records changes and actions in your store, such as Restorations, Exports, and Backups.
Clarifying activity types
There are three categories of activity tracked in the Activity Log: Backups, Restorations, and Exports.
Activity Log only tracks the changes made. To perform the changes recorded here, open Products, Collections, Themes, Customers, or Orders in Vault.
Backups are tracked for Products, Collections, Themes, Customers, and Orders.
The stored Backup data for a Product, Collection, or Theme are available for Restoration.
The store Backup data for Customers and Orders are available for Export.
Restorations are stored data, recorded from an earlier date and ready to re-apply to your Products, Collections, and Themes.
In-app Restorations for Orders and Customers are unavailable. Shopify's Customer and Order databases are more limited in adjustability, so Vault packages these data in CSV format for effortless storage, connection to CRM software, etc.
Vault records Customer and Order data on an automated basis. CSV-formatted Exports are available for easy access and quick download.
