This section can be applied to all of the theme's templates.
The Launch theme includes a Map section that lets you showcase your physical location through Google Maps.
Customize section settings
Click the Map section to open its general settings.
The Section height setting allows you to display the map in Small, Medium, or Large sizes.
Heading: The title that shows up within the text box (i.e. "Location" shown in the example map image.
Within the Address and hours text box, you can add your store’s physical address and operating hours. It will appear directly below the Heading.
Text alignment can be set to Left, Center, or Right.
The text box itself can be repositioned using the Desktop layout selector:
In Mobile, you can also choose whether to display the text box Above or Below the map:
Connect with Google Maps
To display a map on your home page, you need to (1) gather the Google Maps API key, (2) add the API key to the section settings, and (3) enable the Geocoding API.
Once you have your API key, you can add it within the Google Maps API key input field, and the associated address within the Map address field.
Customize the map's colors
Customize the display colors of the map using the Map foreground color and Map background color selectors. You can also control how zoomed in the map is through the Map zoom level slider.
These do not control particular components of the map (streets, water, etc.) but rather the swatches are linked to the overall color scheme of the map.
Next, you can upload the Image that will be used in the event that the map can not be loaded. This can be a screenshot of a map, or anything else you want to display in the event the customer's browser does not successfully load the map.
Overlay controls the overlay color on the map's foreground, and Opacity can determine how much the overlay color will override your map image. The higher the opacity, the darker the map will be.
