The Blog page provides customers with a landing page for your latest blog posts. Customize this page's template with special theme features and settings.
In the theme editor (Customize), open Blogs, then Default blog.
Blog pages settings
In the left sidebar, select Blog pages to open the template’s main settings. This section displays the list of blog posts shown on the page.
On desktop, the most recent blog post is shown in its own column at the top of the section, with the remaining articles displayed below in two columns. On mobile, each post is displayed in its own row.
Shopify automatically creates an RSS feed for every blog, allowing customers to subscribe and receive updates when new posts are published. Turning on Show RSS link displays the link on the page.

Enable Show date to include the date published label for the post.
Enable Show comment count to display the total number of comments left for the post.
Enable Show author to include the publishing staff member's name for the post.
Enable Show excerpt to display a summary of the blog post beneath the title. To change the excerpt, open the blog post in the Shopify admin and edit the excerpt section.
The Force image size dropdown controls the size and shape of the blog images. You can choose between the following options:
- Natural
- Square (1:1)
- Landscape (4:3)
- Portrait (2:3)
- Wide (16:9)
