This section can be applied to all of the theme's templates.
The Blog posts section displays the latest articles from a selected blog on your online store.
Section settings
Click the Blog posts section to open its settings.
Choose a Color scheme to customize the section’s background and text colors. You can modify your color schemes in Theme settings > Colors.
Use the Heading field to add a title for the section. Adjust the text size with the Heading size, and set its alignment to left, right, or center with the Heading position.
Adjust the number of Posts with the slider, you can choose between 3 - 12 posts.
To assign a blog to the section, click Select blog.
Control blog details
Content alignment on desktop helps align the blog details to the left, right, or center on desktop.
Enable Show tags to include a compilation of the blog tags included in each post. Tags can be added and managed when you edit a blog post in the Shopify admin.
Enable Show date to include the date published label for the post.
Enable Show comment count to display the total number of comments left for the post.
Enable Show author to include the publishing staff member's name for the post.
Enable Show excerpt to display a summary of the blog post beneath the title. To change the excerpt, open the blog post in the Shopify admin and edit the excerpt section.
Image ratio controls the size and shape of the blog images. You can choose between the following options:
- Natural
- Square (1:1)
- Landscape (4:3)
- Portrait (2:3)
- Wide (16:9)
Show 'View all' link adds a ‘View all’ link to the right of the heading, directing users to the full blog page.
