Prices for sold out products
Prices for sold out products are now included on Product pages beside the 'Sold out' text for the following theme versions:
- Turbo 5.0 (and up)
- Parallax 4.0 (and up)
- Retina 4.7.1 (and up)
- Responsive 7.2.1 (and up)
What theme version am I using?
For Parallax, Retina, and Responsive, the price now automatically displays. The Turbo theme however has a 'Show price for sold out items' setting located in Theme settings > Product grid, where you can choose to disable the price if you wish!
If you're on a theme that doesn't have this feature added yet and would like the price to appear for sold out products, you could try adding it in to the product's description. Making the price "bold" will help it stand apart from the rest of the description you've added.
If you're on an older version of a theme that does have this feature added, you can simply update your theme.
Hiding out of stock products
If you'd like to hide out of stock products, Shopify has instructions on how you can hide them from your Collection pages and default Catalog collection (/collections/all) page.

Sold out text on collection pages
Select your theme:

Turbo
When the 'Show price for sold out items' setting is enabled (Theme settings > Product grid), the product price will appear with the 'Sold out' text and is added to the product information. If you don't want the price displayed, you can just disable this setting, and only the 'Sold out' text will display!
If the 'Show product information on hover' setting is enabled (Theme settings > Product grid), the 'Sold out' text and price (if enabled) appears on hover.
If the 'Show product information on hover' setting is disabled, the 'Sold out' text and price (if enabled) appears below the product thumbnail image.

Flex
The 'Sold out' text replaces the price and is added to the product information.
If the 'Show product information on hover' setting is enabled (Theme settings > Product grid), the 'Sold out' text appears on hover.
If the 'Show product information on hover' setting is disabled, the 'Sold out' text appears below the product thumbnail image.

Parallax/Retina/Responsive
The 'Sold out' text replaces the price and is added to the product information.
The placement of the 'Sold out' text depends on your 'Product price alignment' setting (Theme settings > Product Grid), where you can choose from: Beside, Below-center, Below-left.
