Can I get a default version of the theme?

Theme Updater includes the ability to install a 'fresh' download of the most recent version of a registered theme.

You can access this with any plan. Registration is required.

Register your theme, then follow the steps below to install a default copy of the theme.

  1. Install Theme Updater.

    This feature is available for all plans. You do not need to be on a subscription plan to obtain a fresh download of your theme.

  2. Open Theme Updater in your Apps dashboard

  3. Open Themes and locate your theme.

  4. Click More, then select Install default theme.

    If this button is grey and unresponsive to clicks, make sure you have fewer than 20 themes in your Online Store.

  5. Click Install when presented with the confirmation modal, then watch the new theme get created.

This version will contain only the default configuration with no customizations. It will be installed as a new, unpublished theme in your shop.
