Flex includes a variety of Product Stickers (also known as banners, badges, or labels) to enhance product cards and images.
Highlight items and direct customer attention to items that are:
- New
- On Sale
- Coming Soon
- Pre-Order
- Best Seller
- Staff Pick
Enable Show stickers in the Product grid portion of the Theme settings, then define and sort products by creating collections for each product sticker category.
The On Sale product sticker appears any time a product is on sale and the product stickers are enabled (no need for a dedicated collection).
Edit the product sticker text by visiting the Collections section of the language editor ([ ... ]> Edit default theme content).
Creating collections for the stickers
There are six product stickers that can be connected to your products by creating dedicated collections.
Match stickers by creating collections with the same name (not case sensitive).
New
Use the Products admin to create a new collection and name it New.
Add products to assign them with a New sticker.
On Sale
Each product with a lower Price than its Compare at price will feature the On Sale sticker automatically.
Coming Soon
Use the Products admin to create a new collection and name it Coming Soon.
Add products to assign them with a Coming Soon sticker.
Pre-Order
Use the Products admin to create a new collection and name it Pre-Order.
Add products to assign them with a Pre-Order sticker.
Best Seller
Use the Products admin to create a new collection and name it Best Seller.
Add products to assign them with a Best Seller sticker.
Staff Pick
Use the Products admin to create a new collection and name it Staff Pick.
Add products to assign them with a Staff Pick sticker.
Product stickers settings
Back in the theme editor (Customize), there are additional controls for the Product Stickers. Access these settings through the Product grid and Colors areas of the Theme settings.
Shape
Select either Round or Square to control the container shape for the stickers.
Position
The Position setting applies to stickers on product thumbnails (Collection pages or Featured Collection sections).
Select Top left, Top right, Bottom left, or Bottom right.
Color settings
The product sticker categories can have their own distinct color customized in the Colors area of the Theme settings.
