Create up to five Mega Menus with the Turbo theme. Also known as mega navigation menus, mega menus provide more sophisticated layouts for longer lists of navigation links. Each of these mega menus can have up to five columns of content.
First, create a menu in the Navigation admin and connect it to the Main menu portion of the Header.
Then enable Mega Menus in the theme settings, connect the menu, and customize column blocks to build your Mega Menus.
Enable Mega Menus in the Theme Settings
Open Theme settings, then Mega Menus.
Click the checkbox beside Enable mega menu 1, 2, 3, 4, and/or 5 to activate mega menu sections.
Connect the Menu
Click to open the Mega menu section, then enter the Link title for the parent link to stem from.
For example, if you want your mega menu to appear under the 'Our Shop' menu item, add 'our shop' to the Link title field.
Add columns to the mega menu by clicking the Column blocks.
Customize Column Blocks
Click to open one of the preset Column blocks.
In each column, you can configure Top Content, Navigation, and Bottom Content. All of these are optional.
Top content
The Top Content area includes a Text area, Image, Image caption, and Image link.
Don't want text? Remove the placeholder copy and save.
Navigation
The Navigation area includes the option to add up to four menus by clicking Select menu.
For each menu, add a link for the title of the menu with the Menu 1 link.
Bottom content
The Bottom Content area is similar to the Top Content except that it will appear at the bottom of the column. It also includes Text area, Image, Image caption, and Image link settings.
Mobile Layout
When viewed on a mobile device, the columns in the Mega Menus will stack vertically. All of the menus added to the feature will display as drop-down menus.
