Turbo is a premium Shopify theme developed and exclusively sold by Out of the Sandbox.
Since the theme is only available for purchase through our website, Theme Store features for merchants to preview or a trial a theme are unavailable for Turbo. Instead, use Theme Updater to preview the theme in your store before purchase.
Please note that any customizations made in the theme trial are not retained after purchasing the Turbo theme
This process is the same for Flex, Superstore, Pacific and Launch themes.
Step 1: Install Theme Updater
Install Out of the Sandbox's Theme Updater in your shop.
This task does not require a paid subscription and can be completed with the app's Free plan
Step 2: Try additional themes
Open the app, then scroll down to the Additional themes from Out of the Sandbox section to locate Turbo.
Click Try theme to add the trial theme to your store
Once the modal window opens, select Install trial and wait for the process to complete.
Step 3: Customize the theme
Click Customize to be taken directly to the Turbo theme editor and start experimenting with the extensive options and features.
Theme styles
Only the default theme style can be previewed. When you purchase the theme, you can access all theme styles and upload the desired preset to your store.
Workaround
If you're having trouble finding the "Additional themes from Out of the Sandbox" section in the Theme Updater App, there's an alternative way to preview the theme.
1. Open the Theme Updater app
2. You can access the Turbo trial theme by appending /themes/preview/5 to your store's URL.3. After pressing enter, you'll see an option to install the Turbo trial theme on the next screen.
