Flex Theme Demo Shop Styles
The Flex theme takes "theme styles" a step further by allowing you to import the styles — in full. This means that you can import all of the settings, content, sections, and even placeholder images as seen in the Flex demo shops into your own shop.
In order to select a demo shop style to start, you can either take advantage of the demo shop import feature via our Theme Updater App, or, choose a demo shop zip to upload. If you want to also upload the placeholder images from the demo shops, you can follow the steps in this article.
Choosing a Demo Shop to Start Out With
The key to picking which Flex style to start with is to look at features such as the basic layout, styling of elements such as headers, navigation, buttons and more.
Ultimately, picking one that looks most like the layout you'd like your shop to have is typically the best route to go.
That said, keep an open mind when checking out all the options — even if the color schemes or fonts aren’t exactly to your liking or a good fit for your brand, you can easily mix + match demos and change these within the theme settings. For example, if you want to start off with Glow's layout, but give your shop a color palette like Techno, you can update the colors and fonts easily within the theme settings while keeping the same layout.

Flora portrays a direct to consumer plant shop. An editorial serif font with a bright color palette of green, peach and pink against an ample amount of whitespace is used throughout the shop, making the style lively and cheerful. Mega menus are enabled for easy navigation of the shop's offerings, while pops of animation on the homepage add a feeling of playfulness.
Emporium is a perfect setup for large catalog shops selling items such as home goods, fashion, furniture, and handmade goods. An Amazon-inspired search box and a custom mega menu in the header provide customers with easy navigation. Modular homepage sections are product focused and highlight large collections with the use of product sliders.
Glow is a modern beauty brand with both portrait and playful imagery. Hints of millennial pink against a crisp white background throughout the shop make the style fresh and youthful, perfect for skincare and makeup products. Contemporary elements such as a vertical header and product slider are enabled for seamless browsing.
Luxe is simple but elegant, featuring luxurious jewelry and stunning imagery. Clean and sleek with a wide layout perfect for image-heavy shops that would suit high-end products such as fashion, style, beauty and jewelry.. A classic centered logo above the mega menu provides both a timeless look and polished organization.
Studio features a fine art shop, utilizing a high number of collections to display the art products like a gallery.
