The demo shop import feature allows you to fast track a shop setup based on a demo shop of your theme! This means that all of the theme settings, layouts, content and sections used in the demo shop of your choosing will then get applied to your theme.
A couple quick notes about the demo shop import feature:
- Content exception: the demo shop’s navigation and blog posts won’t get imported into your own shop, as these are both created through the Shopify Admin and not the theme itself.
- In order for internal pages seen in the demo shops such as About Us, FAQs, Contact Us, Gallery to show up in your own shop, you will need to add these as pages through the admin. Once you've done that, the content will populate.
Please note that importing a demo shop will overwrite any existing theme settings, sections and options. You may want to create a duplicate of your theme first if you'd like a backup.
Demo Shop Image Download
We've also made all of our placeholder images used in each Flex demo shop available for download and use in your own shop! We recommend downloading the images before importing the demo shop so that the demo shop images will populate once you've completed the import and head over to customize your theme!
