When updating to a newer version of your theme, you may no longer want previous customizations to be carried over!
During the updating process, you are given the option to check off the 'preserve customizations' box. If this is checked off, the Theme Updater app will attempt to carry over basic customizations made to the theme.
If you do not check the 'preserve customizations' box, then the Theme Updater app will not maintain any custom code that has been added to the theme.
