Unpublished themes
If the theme you are using is not published, you will not be able to select the page.faq template. Unfortunately, this is a limitation of how Shopify works. You should also be aware that, in some cases, your existing theme may have a page.faq template, but if your Out of the Sandbox theme is not published, any changes you make my not be saved properly.
A workaround for this is to add your FAQs on a standard page. This page can include your FAQs or a "coming soon" message.
Once you publish your Out of the Sandbox theme live, go in and change the page template to page.faq and then use the customize theme editor to set up your questions. Once you have set them up in the collapsable panels, go back to the page editor and delete the temporary text you added.
Please be aware that while you are working on setting up your FAQ page, visitors will see the placeholder text you have on the page. This text will also remain visible until you delete it manually.
