Turbo includes a page.gallery template to enhance pages using image blocks. Add images and customize their layout with Turbo's Gallery page template.
Assign Theme Template to Current or New Page
Confirm Turbo is published to access the Gallery page template.
- Open Pages in your Online Store
- Create a new page with Add page or select a page to edit
- Select gallery as the Theme template
Template Settings in the Theme Editor
Head into the theme editor (Customize), then open the new gallery page with the page selector.
Click the Page | gallery section to open its settings.
The Page | gallery Settings determine the overall look of the gallery page. You can configure the gallery layout, lightbox, widedisplay, images per row, and divider (which will show/hide an underline under the page title).
You can choose whether you'd like your gallery images to be a standard width and sit inside the page's container, or you can enable the wide display which will remove marigns around the images and allow them to span the full screen.
The Gallery style setting comes with 3 layout options: Horizontal masonry, Veritcal masonry, and Classic. Horizontal masonry and Vertical masonry are great options to choose when your images are different sizes and orientations. Classic is best suited when images are the same in size and orientation.
Number of columns
This setting applies to the Vertical masonry and Classic gallery styles.
If you choose to enable the lightbox, when you click on one of your gallery images, a popup will appear where you can click through to view all the images.
The Gallery page in Turbo is configured through blocks in the theme editor. Click one of the preset blocks to add an image and link.
Select (+) Add image to add more.
Add your Image link to the provided field and connect customers with more pages.
Create Multiple Gallery Pages
To create additional Gallery pages, use the page selector to click Pages, then [+] Create template.
Add a name for the new template, then select Gallery with the Based on setting.
Click Create template to generate the additional template.
Return to the Pages admin to assign the new template to the right page(s), then customize by opening the new template with the page selector.
