The Featured Promotions page section combines images, text, and links to catch your customer's attention and direct it towards specific content in your shop to explore further.
Use the theme editor to add Featured Promotions to a page, then customize the promotion blocks and adjust promotions per row for your Featured Promotions section.
Add Featured Promotions to a Page
Select Customize by your Retina theme to open the theme editor.
In the left sidebar, click (+) Add section, then select Featured Promotions.
Customize the Promotion Blocks
Each promotion is added and customized as its own content block.
Click to open one of the three default blocks to customize its settings.
Select (+) Add promotion to add more.
Image
In each promotion, upload an image by clicking Select Image.
Use images wider than 420px for the best results.
Text and Link
Include a heading and text using the provided text fields.
As an alternative to the buttons, consider using the background link field to connect a link to the image.
Overlay and Background
Select either Gradient or Solid to adjust the overlay.
Activate show box background to include a background for the included messaging. This is an effective solution for text colors blending in with the background image.
Buttons
Each promotion block can include one or two buttons. Add the text for the buttons to the first button text and second button text fields, then connect other pages with the first button link and second button link fields.
Alignment
Use the the text position dropdown to place the text at the Top, Center, or Bottom of the block.
Then use the text alignment dropdown to align the text to the Left, Center, or Right of the block.
Adjust Promotions Per Row
Use the Promotions per row setting to display 2, 3, or 4 promotions per row for desktop devices.
The section stacks one promotion per row for mobile devices.
